About gear transmission.

Cheap ones use spur bevel gears, better ones use helical gears, and high-speed ones use spiral bevel gears. Those that can reach 2500RPM without spiral bevel gears are not durable.

  1. Spur bevel gears are the most basic bevel gears. They are easy to process, but the transmission accuracy is too poor and the instantaneous transmission ratio is inaccurate. They are only used as a general mechanism for changing direction transmission and do not have strict requirements on speed and transmission ratio. They are often easy to hit teeth at high speeds.

2. Helical bevel gears are modified on the basis of spur bevel gears. Compared with some shortcomings of spur bevel gears, they have been improved, such as: the instantaneous transmission ratio is relatively more accurate, the transmission accuracy is higher, and the transmission efficiency is higher than that of spur bevel gears. In layman's terms, compared with spur bevel gears, transmission is easier, but the meshing degree is difficult to grasp due to manufacturing reasons. It is suitable for mechanisms with low speeds and requires lubrication.

3. The efficiency of spiral bevel gears is the best, and the performance parameters in all aspects are the best. There is a set of spiral bevel gear pairs in the transmission shaft at the bottom of the car and the [tooth bag] of the rear axle (the round thing in the middle of the rear axle). Its performance is as follows:

Advantages: large arc overlap coefficient, smooth transmission, reliable operation, less wear resistance, long life, low noise, especially suitable for high-speed transmission。3124007375,3867442577.jpg
